Revenue Specialist, MVA Claims

Job Summary

Investigating and analyzing Motor Vehicle Accident accounts, the full-time remote Revenue Specialist, MVA Claims will coordinate insurance benefits, resolve outstanding balances, and handle patient health information while ensuring confidentiality and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online medical research and utilize proprietary software to analyze MVA claim payments
• Request and review medical records and submit hospital claims to insurance companies for prompt reimbursement
• Follow up with payers to update claim systems and ensure timely resolution of claims

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing or collections
• 1+ years of experience with MVA claim resolution preferred
• Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office applications
• Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing related to MVA claims
