Reverse Underwriter Specialist

Job Summary

Focused on maintaining pipeline retention and ensuring successful loan processing, the full-time Wholesale Production Retention Specialist will collaborate with various departments, review complex loan scenarios, and provide training support in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform upfront file structuring and oversee pipeline retention efforts to enhance loan processing and closing
• Review complex loan scenarios and financial documentation to ensure compliance with company guidelines
• Partner with Sales and Operations teams to resolve loan structuring challenges and provide training sessions on underwriting topics

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of Underwriting experience, preferably with a background in Reverse Processing
• Possession of a DE (Direct Endorsement) certification
• Strong understanding of loan structuring, financial assessments, and compliance requirements
• Experience in tracking and documenting loan reviews within a Loan Origination System (LOS)
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and provide training support
