RF Communication Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing communications engineering team, the RF Communication Engineer will work remotely on a 12-month contract, focusing on the architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of RF communication systems while ensuring regulatory compliance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the Communications Engineering team to support technology platforms delivering voice, video, and computing services
• Ensure high reliability and availability of RF communication systems and follow change management procedures
• Provide technical support for deployment projects of Field Area Network devices and maintain network documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in Networking, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field
• 3-6 years of experience in RF communication engineering or related roles
• Basic knowledge of common test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and RF wattmeters
• Experience in circuit engineering design and infrastructure support for data transport over wireless or fiber
• Proficiency in document creation using Microsoft Office tools, including technical writing and diagramming software
