RHEL Consultant

Job Summary

To support a leading financial services customer, the remote contract RHEL Consultant will provide technical expertise in deploying, hardening, and operating RHEL10, leading in-place upgrades and automating workflows for a standardized enterprise transition.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct solutions design sessions to identify upgrade pain points and assist in designing future state upgrade processes
• Orchestrate the in-place upgrade plan and develop automation playbooks for upgrade tasks
• Facilitate workshops to capture upgrade dependencies and provide weekly status reports to the Project Manager

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience with RHEL deployment, hardening, and operations
• Strong proficiency in Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and building automation workflows
• Hands-on experience with Leapp for RHEL in-place upgrades
• Ability to facilitate technical workshops and lead architectural decision-making
• Experience in creating technical documentation and knowledge-base assets
