Job Summary
To provide critical rheumatology expertise remotely, the PRN/1099 Independent Contractor Rheumatologist will diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of rheumatologic conditions through telemedicine consultations, ensuring accessible care for underserved populations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct remote consultations to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for rheumatic and autoimmune diseases
- Prescribe medications and offer personalized, evidence-based treatment options for various conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and maintain accurate patient records
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- Minimum of 1 year of practice experience in Rheumatology
- Active DEA certification and Board Certification/Board Eligible in Rheumatology
- At least one unrestricted state license (any state in the U.S.)
- Telemedicine experience preferred but not required
