Rheumatology Dermatology Editor

Job Summary

To support a dynamic content team, the full-time contract Rheumatology Dermatology Editor will assign and edit medical news articles, write in-depth features, and collaborate with marketing and operations teams, all while working remotely from anywhere in the US.

Key responsibilities:

• Assign and edit articles related to rheumatology and dermatology for a specialized physician audience
• Pitch and write engaging features with innovative perspectives in collaboration with the Editorial Director
• Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure timely publication of content

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, biology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in health content editing and writing
• Extensive knowledge of the rheumatology and dermatology fields
• Proven experience in assigning story ideas and editing for accuracy and relevance
• Ability to write in-depth investigative stories and translate complex medical information for a lay audience
