Job Summary

A company is looking for a SMART Auditor to conduct inpatient coding reviews and SMART audits remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient coding reviews and SMART audits
• Provide feedback and education based on audit findings
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and maintain high accuracy

Required Qualifications

• RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification required
• 2-3 years of recent inpatient coding and auditing experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with the SMART Audit tool is essential
• Strong technical skills, including experience with VPNs and video conferencing tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
