RHIA Licensed Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform quality reviews for inpatient and outpatient coding across multiple Health Information Management Service Centers
• Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and policies by HSC coding staff
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards while participating in special reviews or projects

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Health Information Management (HIM) or Health Information Technology (HIT) preferred
• RHIA, RHIT certification mandatory
• Experience in IP Coding Auditing for MS-DRG
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on coding MS-DRG auditing in a hospital setting, ideally with 10+ years of coding experience
• Must have experience across all body systems, not specialized in one area
