RHIA Licensed Coding Manager

Job Summary

Managing daily operations of the Hospital Coding Program, the full-time RHIA Licensed Coding Manager will oversee inpatient and outpatient coding functions, ensuring quality and performance improvement while collaborating with Clinical Revenue Cycle Directors and Managers in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct daily operations of the Hospital Coding Program
• Manage coding quality, productivity, and performance improvement activities
• Collaborate on the development of coding quality, education, and performance improvement programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health information management or equivalent experience
• 2 years of hospital coding experience
• 3 years of coding management experience
• RHIA or RHIT certification
• Knowledge of revenue cycle and compliance standards
