RHIT Data Integrity Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIM Data Integrity Specialist (WFH).

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure data accuracy in the Master Patient Index (MPI) and coordinate corrections across departments
• Evaluate and resolve EMR patient overlays and identity discrepancies
• Provide support for remediation workflows and assist in cross-training team members

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or related field
• 0 - 3 years of experience in Health Information Management or related area
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification required within 18 months of hire
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as Joint Commission, CMS, and HIPAA
• Experience with Master Patient Index (MPI) preferred
