RHIT Licensed Data Integrity Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Integrity Specialist responsible for ensuring accurate patient data in the Master Patient Index and supporting patient matching activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and resolve EMR patient overlays and identity issues
• Coordinate with various departments to maintain accurate patient information
• Assist in the chart correction process and provide coverage for remediation workflows

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or a related field
• 0 - 3 years of experience in Health Information Management or related areas
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification required within 18 months of hire
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as Joint Commission, CMS, and HIPAA
• Experience with Master Patient Index (MPI) preferred
