Job Summary

A company is looking for a Release of Information Specialist II in Health Information Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support and process requests for patient information in compliance with HIPAA and regulations
• Assist in training new team members
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies regarding the release of information

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related discipline preferred
• RHIT or RHIA certification preferred
• One year of experience in Release of Information required
• Competency in essential functions of a Release of Information Specialist I role
• Medical terminology course must be completed within six months of start date
