Rhode Island Licensed Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist - Remote Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret patient medication orders entered into the electronic health record (EHR) for therapeutic appropriateness
• Provide drug information and consultation to healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and potential issues
• Document and report clinical interventions, medication errors, and adverse drug events according to established protocols

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Current unrestricted licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Rhode Island and Massachusetts prior to start date
• Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification in clinical pharmacy expertise within 18 months of hire
• Successful completion of a Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY-1) Residency or a minimum of 3 years clinical experience
• Knowledge of pharmacy information systems and experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
