Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Reviews outpatient clinical documentation and assigns appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
Utilizes 3M 360 Finder for code assignment and resolves claims edit issues
Monitors uncoded reports and ensures timely coding and billing processes

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of a formal coding educational program
Coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC
One to two years of experience in outpatient coding or billing
Able to meet established quality and productivity standards
