Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist - Outpatient Telecommute.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews outpatient clinical documentation and assigns appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
• Monitors and resolves rejected accounts on Claims Edit Reports and ensures timely coding and billing processes
• Utilizes 3M 360 Finder for code assignment and resolves coding conflicts as necessary

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a formal coding educational program
• Coding certification required from AHIMA or AAPC
• One to two years of experience in outpatient coding or billing
• Ability to meet and maintain established quality and productivity standards
