Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist - Outpatient Telecommute.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews and enters coded outpatient encounter information into 3M 360 Finder, ensuring accurate coding and resolving edits
• Assigns E/M, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and chargemaster codes, ensuring documentation supports all code assignments
• Monitors and resolves rejected accounts and coding conflicts, maintaining productivity and accuracy standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of a formal coding education program
• Active coding certification required (AHIMA or AAPC)
• One to two years of outpatient coding or billing experience required
• Ability to read and interpret outpatient medical record documentation
