Job Summary
Managing the end-to-end loan process for private banking clients, the full-time Rhode Island Licensed Credit Associate will evaluate lending requests, ensure compliance with credit policies, and maintain communication with clients and internal teams while working primarily onsite with one remote day per week.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and approve lending requests for private banking clients, including specialty lending products
- Manage the loan process from inquiry through post-closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain ongoing dialogue with clients and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored lending solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 3-5+ years of credit risk experience in the financial services industry, particularly in specialty lending
- Proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis tools, and banking software
- In-depth knowledge of bank loan, deposit, mortgage, and credit products
- Ability to handle sensitive client information with discretion and integrity
