Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medication History Technician Specialist, Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtains and compiles detailed home medication history and allergy information from various sources
• Documents and verifies current home medication lists and allergy information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Interacts with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure accurate medication reconciliation and follow-up

Required Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent; completion of one to two years of college preferred
• Current unrestricted Pharmacy Technician licensure in Rhode Island
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or one year of pharmacy technician experience in an outpatient setting
• Minimum one year of pharmacy technician experience in an outpatient pharmacy setting
• Strong computer skills and ability to utilize multiple applications effectively
