Job Summary
To support a growing mental health initiative, the part-time Rhode Island Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide teletherapy and mental health assessments to PreK-12 students and school staff in partner districts, collaborating with school personnel to enhance mental health support.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver mental health assessments and teletherapy to students and staff, ensuring quality care tailored to individual needs
- Engage in case discussions with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate effective mental health strategies
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with school leadership and staff to address student mental health needs
Required qualifications
- Active Rhode Island license in mental health care (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PhD/PsyD)
- Minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services to children and youth via telehealth
- Proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy
- Reliable access to high-speed internet for teletherapy sessions
- Willingness to offer flexible hours, particularly during and after school hours
