Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Oncology Nurse Navigator.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through virtual platforms, ensuring high-quality support throughout the oncology care journey
• Triage symptoms and provide consultative support, escalating urgent clinical issues as necessary
• Coordinate care, nutritional support, and provider referrals while building trusting relationships with patients

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a compact unrestricted RN license (or ability to obtain) with licensure in Rhode Island
• At least 3 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in oncology nursing
• Oncology-related certifications such as OCN, AOCN, AOCNS, or CCM preferred or to be obtained within 2 years of hire
• Comfortable using technology platforms like Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, and EHR systems
• Strong relational skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
