Job Summary

To support a remote team, the part-time Rhode Island Licensed Pharmacist will review and process prior authorization requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance while managing a high volume of cases.

Key responsibilities

• Review prior authorization requests for accuracy and medical necessity
• Make coverage determinations in accordance with regulatory and plan guidelines
• Document clinical reviews, decisions, and communications accurately

Required qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license required
• 2+ years of prior authorization review experience required
• PBM, managed care, or health plan experience strongly preferred
• Experience working remotely preferred
• Must be available for the entire training period
