Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medication History Technician Specialist, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and compile detailed home medication history and allergy information for patients
• Document verified medication lists and allergy information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Communicate discrepancies and provide follow-up on medication history issues with healthcare providers

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; completion of one to two years of college preferred
• Current unrestricted Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician licensure
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or one year of pharmacy technician experience in an outpatient setting
• Minimum one year of pharmacy technician experience in an outpatient pharmacy setting
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems
