Job Summary
Conducting scientific investigative research in biomedical areas related to patient care, the full-time Rhode Island Licensed Postdoctoral Research Associate will design experimental protocols, collect and analyze data using bioinformatic and statistical methodologies, and write manuscripts and grants, all in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments and analyses according to established protocols and research methodologies
- Develop new experimental protocols to achieve established research objectives
- Collect and analyze data using bioinformatic, phylogenetic, and statistical methodologies
Required qualifications:
- PhD and/or MD required
- 5 years of professional research experience with a focus on molecular diagnostics
- Completion of a qualified national certification exam toward fulfillment of Rhode Island Clinical Laboratory License is desirable
- Ability to train and work with volunteers and students on projects
