Rhode Island Licensed Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To enhance healthcare access and quality, the Rhode Island Licensed Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner will provide virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages, working full-time, part-time, or on a modified schedule with evening and weekend shifts required.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams for a broad range of conditions
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, developing and documenting treatment plans accurately
• Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions, providing patient education and counseling

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Master's or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Active Nurse Practitioner license with maintained Registered Nurse licensure
• Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
• Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
