Job Summary
To support the processing of Commercial Prior Authorizations for Pharmacy benefits, the remote Licensed Vocational Nurse in Rhode Island will manage inbound and outbound calls, review criteria-based prior authorizations, and document necessary information accurately.
Key responsibilities
- Provide processing and communication of Commercial Prior Authorizations for Pharmacy benefits
- Review and refer cases not meeting clinical criteria to the Pharmacist and MD team(s)
- Document all necessary information accurately using computer systems
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience as a LPN/LVN
- Unrestricted license in state of residence or compact license
- Relevant certifications, licenses, or degrees related to nursing
