Job Summary

A company is looking for a Rigging Artist to join their Visual Effects team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build character and creature rigs using software like Autodesk Maya or Blender
  • Prepare characters for animation by setting up skinning and weighting
  • Develop facial rigs for expressive animations and troubleshoot rigging issues
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Rigging Artist with a strong portfolio
  • Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software, such as Maya or Blender
  • Solid understanding of anatomy and character movement
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python is a bonus
