Job Summary
A company is looking for a Rigging Artist to join their Visual Effects team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build character and creature rigs using software like Autodesk Maya or Blender
- Prepare characters for animation by setting up skinning and weighting
- Develop facial rigs for expressive animations and troubleshoot rigging issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience as a Rigging Artist with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software, such as Maya or Blender
- Solid understanding of anatomy and character movement
- Experience with scripting languages like Python is a bonus
