Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Right of Way Agent will manage engineering work orders, provide administrative and field support, and negotiate right-of-way documents for the placement of voice/data infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Engineer routine and specific COE/OSP work orders while preparing work order drawings and documentation
- Analyze reports and provide estimated expenditures for work orders, ensuring accurate data entry into mechanized support systems
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and legal descriptions to negotiate rights-of-way, easements, and permits
Required qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience in COE/OSP engineering
- At least three years' experience in right-of-way acquisition and negotiation
- Functional knowledge of COE/OSP principles and work order procedures
- Proficiency in PC applications and computer-aided drafting systems
- Ability to perform basic appraisals and search titles related to right-of-way documentation
