RIM Business Analyst Consultant

Job Summary

To support regulatory technology initiatives, the remote RIM Business Analyst Consultant will manage stakeholder communications, translate business needs into system requirements, and oversee implementation and ongoing managed services engagements across various RIM platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Regulatory Affairs/Operations and IT teams, facilitating requirements gathering and translating them into functional specifications
• Support implementation and migration efforts across Regulatory Information Management platforms while coordinating with technical teams for issue resolution
• Identify process improvement opportunities and maintain documentation for client-facing and internal use

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of business analyst experience in regulatory affairs or regulatory operations technology environments
• Working knowledge of at least one RIM platform (e.g., Veeva Vault RIM, Generis CARA, Ennov RIM)
• Experience supporting a full RIM implementation or major upgrade lifecycle
• Familiarity with eCTD structure and regional submission requirements
