Risk Adjustment HCC Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment HCC Coder.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ICD-10-CM coding for reimbursement through documentation review
• Assign ICD-10-CM codes to documentation received from provider offices
• Identify providers that may need additional education on ICD-10-coding or documentation requirements

Required Qualifications:

• At least one year of coding experience
• Some type of coding certification
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CMS coding principles and guidelines
• Familiarity with physician-specific regulations and policies related to documentation and coding
• Knowledgeable of Medicare Risk Adjustment
