Risk Adjustment Trainer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment Trainer to enhance the coding accuracy and performance of its Risk Adjustment Coding Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage virtual training processes and schedule training sessions based on identified needs
• Design and deliver effective training programs and interactive sessions for staff and external partners
• Oversee the development of advanced coding training programs and provide ongoing education and support

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior training experience preferred
• 8+ years of coding experience in HCC coding
• AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, HCC mapping, and risk adjustment business logic
• Minimum Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
