Risk Adjustment Trainer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment Trainer to enhance the coding accuracy and performance of their Risk Adjustment Coding Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage virtual training processes and schedule training sessions based on identified needs
• Design and deliver effective training programs and interactive sessions for staff and partners
• Analyze coding error trends and provide ongoing education and support to improve performance

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior training experience preferred
• 8+ years of coding experience in HCC coding
• Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of HCC mapping and models
• Experience with coding Medicare, Commercial, and Medicaid risk adjustment charts
• AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials are required
