Risk Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Risk Analyst to monitor and mitigate financial risks within their payment ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain a real-time risk monitoring dashboard to track transaction anomalies and fraud flags
• Respond to inbound merchant risk inquiries and handle high-risk merchant cases end-to-end
• Monitor and triage incoming chargebacks while assisting in chargeback prevention efforts

Required Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in risk, fraud, underwriting, or compliance within payments, fintech, or banking
• Familiarity with chargeback processes, transaction monitoring, PCI-DSS, and payment network rules
• Analytical and data-driven, with working knowledge of tools like Excel, Looker, or SQL
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple complex projects
• Experience with ACH returns or similar risk platforms is a plus
