Risk and Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Global Director of Risk & Compliance, the full-time remote Risk and Compliance Specialist will design, implement, and enforce compliance frameworks across an international nonprofit network, focusing on governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Support establishment and lifecycle management of legal entities, ensuring compliance with jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements
• Monitor organizational activities to align with tax-exempt requirements and drive adherence to global compliance policies
• Execute due diligence processes for vendors and manage documentation for onboarding and governance changes

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance, legal operations, audit, risk, or advisory roles
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance processes
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to translate complex requirements into structured processes
