Risk and Compliance VP

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP of Risk and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) program and manage the information Security Management Committee
• Develop and present an annual compliance plan to the Board, incorporating cross-functional input
• Oversee the Incident Response process and manage security incidents, including follow-up and remediation

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience in developing security and regulatory compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Expertise in implementing information security practices and managing security events
• High confidence working in the AWS ecosystem or ability to learn quickly
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead discussions in diverse groups
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members
