Job Summary
Providing proactive, data-driven risk management consultative services, the full-time Risk Consultant will guide physicians and healthcare organizations remotely, focusing on risk assessments, data interpretation, and implementing risk reduction strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify preventable vulnerabilities and collaborate with stakeholders to implement risk reduction strategies
- Present and interpret data to various healthcare audiences, including clinicians and administrators, to facilitate understanding and engagement with risk management solutions
- Develop customized risk service plans for assigned accounts based on historical data and current risk perceptions
Required qualifications
- RN or Bachelor's degree in a health-related field; advanced degree preferred
- Certification in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM) within the first year of employment
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare delivery, risk management, or patient safety, including leadership roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technology-based applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and related insurance systems
