Risk Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Risk Data Scientist who will research, model, implement, and validate algorithms to analyze diverse data sources for effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with large, structured, and un-structured datasets
• Utilize quantitative and analytical techniques to monitor and mitigate risk while accelerating profitable growth
• Build machine learning and AI models, and design data visualizations to communicate insights to business leaders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with six years of related experience, or Master's degree with four years, or Ph.D. with two years in a quantitative/analytical/STEM field
• One year of hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark
• Two years of experience with statistical and predictive modeling concepts including machine learning
• Two years of programming experience analyzing large datasets using tools like SAS, Python, or R
