Risk Management Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Credit and Fraud Risk organization, the full-time Senior Risk Management Analyst will define risk management policies, collaborate across functions to develop strategies, and leverage quantitative expertise to drive risk decisions while working on-site or in a hybrid model.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement risk management policies for American Express portfolios
- Collaborate with various functions to develop best-in-class strategies for credit risk mitigation
- Analyze large datasets to deliver actionable insights that enhance customer experience and business performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant work experience, or a master's degree in a quantitative field
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages for handling large datasets
- Experience in credit or fraud risk management with a solid understanding of the credit lifecycle
- Demonstrated analytical expertise and process improvement skills
- Ability to think strategically and apply quantitative methods to drive outcomes
