Job Summary
Providing essential support to the Corporate Behavioral Health Insurance Department, the part-time Risk Management Coordinator will manage special projects, coordinate responses to claims, and assist with administrative tasks in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinates responses to medical malpractice claims and represents the Risk Management Department in related meetings
- Maintains databases for Facility Risk Managers and assists in the planning of educational events and training sessions
- Documents incident reports and patient safety assessments while performing various administrative duties as needed
Required qualifications
- High School Graduate/GED required; Technical School, 2 Years College, or Associates Degree preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products required; familiarity with MIDAS, Riskonnect/STARS, and Zoom preferred
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence effectively
