Risk Operations Associate

Job Summary

As a full-time Risk & Payment Operations Associate working remotely, the candidate will investigate and resolve payment reviews and operational exceptions across various payment methods while collaborating with Compliance and Operations teams to enhance processes and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate payment reviews and unusual transaction activity across multiple payment methods
• Manage requests for information from financial partners, ensuring clear and complete responses
• Communicate directly with customers regarding payment-related inquiries and issues

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in payment operations, risk operations, or a related role in a financial institution
• Working knowledge of payment systems and transaction lifecycles, including ACH and wires
• Strong investigative judgment and ability to evaluate transaction patterns and supporting documentation
• Excellent written communication skills for summarizing investigations and decisions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and external financial partners
