Risk Specialist

Job Summary

Providing administrative and technical support for Student Accident Claims, the full-time Risk Specialist will verify claims, manage data entry in the Riskonnect ClearSight database, and perform various administrative functions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Verify Student Accident Claims and make initial contact with parents or guardians regarding injuries requiring medical attention
• Enter Student Accident data into the Riskonnect ClearSight database and coordinate timely follow-up and resolution of claims
• Perform administrative functions, including preparing checks and processing wire transfer instructions as requested by claims administrators

Required qualifications

• Prior professional Risk Management experience
• Familiarity with risk exposures in an education environment preferred
• Excellent organization, communication, and writing skills
• Ability to diffuse pressure in difficult situations
