RMF Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the USDA Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, the full-time RMF Analyst will assess IT systems for compliance, conduct Security Controls Assessments in accordance with NIST SP 800 53, and develop training materials for RMF implementation, all while working in a dynamic, cross-functional IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess IT systems for compliance with information security requirements and support Security Controls Assessments
• Develop and present RMF training materials and documentation to support implementation across the USDA enterprise
• Utilize RMF workflow tools to document and track activities related to RMF processes

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience, or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Knowledge of NIST and FISMA guidelines
• Minimum of one year of related technical or professional experience in cybersecurity
• Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance
• Experience with RMF workflow tools such as CSAM is preferred
