RMF & ISSM Support Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Defense Health Agency, the remote RMF & ISSM Support Specialist will manage Information Systems Security Manager efforts, execute RMF packages, conduct continuous monitoring of systems, and provide cybersecurity expertise.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end RMF authorization activities, including SSP development and ATO package maintenance
• Architect and implement secure cloud solutions, ensuring compliance with security baselines and policies
• Serve as a senior technical security advisor to program leadership and coordinate with various stakeholders on control implementation

Required qualifications:

• 6-8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience in DoD or Federal environments
• Proficiency with eMASS for developing and managing ATO packages, SSPs, and POA&Ms
• 3+ years of experience securing AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government environments
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools for automated infrastructure deployment
• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related STEM field, or equivalent experience
