Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time RMF & ISSM Support Specialist will manage Information Systems Security Manager efforts, complete RMF packages, conduct continuous monitoring of systems, and provide cybersecurity expertise for the Defense Health Agency.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end RMF authorization activities including SSP development and ATO package maintenance
- Architect and implement secure solutions across cloud-hosted environments, ensuring compliance with security baselines
- Serve as a senior technical security advisor to program leadership and coordinate with various stakeholders on control implementation
Required qualifications:
- 6-8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience in DoD or Federal environments
- Proficiency with eMASS and experience managing ATO packages, SSPs, and POA&Ms
- 3+ years securing AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government environments with cloud-native security tooling
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related STEM field
- Active Secret Clearance and IAT Level II certification required; additional certifications such as CISSP or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are strongly desired
