RMF & ISSM Support Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time RMF & ISSM Support Specialist will manage Information Systems Security Manager efforts, complete RMF packages, conduct continuous monitoring of systems, and provide cybersecurity expertise for the Defense Health Agency.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end RMF authorization activities including SSP development and ATO package maintenance
• Architect and implement secure solutions across cloud-hosted environments, ensuring compliance with security baselines
• Serve as a senior technical security advisor to program leadership and coordinate with various stakeholders on control implementation

Required qualifications:

• 6-8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience in DoD or Federal environments
• Proficiency with eMASS and experience managing ATO packages, SSPs, and POA&Ms
• 3+ years securing AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government environments with cloud-native security tooling
• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related STEM field
• Active Secret Clearance and IAT Level II certification required; additional certifications such as CISSP or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are strongly desired
