RMF Security and ATO Manager

Job Summary

Leading cybersecurity compliance and Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, the full-time RMF Security and ATO Manager will ensure continuous compliance and zero ATO lapses for a multi-tenant cloud healthcare platform while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all six steps of the NIST RMF process for the VA healthcare platform and hosted applications
• Lead and coordinate security audits and assessments, ensuring accurate documentation and oversight of ATO/ATC packages
• Produce monthly RMF, security, and ATO status reports, maintaining regular communication with government cybersecurity leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, computer science, or a related field
• 10 years of experience in federal cybersecurity, information assurance, RMF compliance, and ATO processes
• Expert knowledge of the NIST RMF steps and federal ATO/ATC package management
• Active Federal Civilian Public Trust clearance
• Experience supporting Federal Government programs and systems operating in cloud or hybrid environments
