RN Behavioral Health Advocate

Job Summary

Managing case management and utilization review for behavioral health and substance abuse cases, the full-time RN Behavioral Health Advocate will work remotely to recommend and manage appropriate levels of care while directly impacting members' lives.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day management and administration of behavioral health benefits for facility-based care
• Utilize clinical assessments to determine appropriate levels of care and evaluate the need for additional clinical services
• Coordinate benefits and transitions between various levels of care while identifying community-based services for discharge planning

Required qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN Nurse License in the state of residence
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related mental health environment
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Willingness to work occasional holidays and adapt to changes in working hours as needed
