Job Summary
To support behavioral health initiatives, the full-time RN Behavioral Health Advocate will manage case administration and utilization review for behavioral health and substance abuse cases while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day management of behavioral health benefits for facility-based care
- Utilize clinical assessments to determine appropriate levels of care and evaluate the need for additional services
- Coordinate benefits and transitions between various levels of care, enhancing treatment plans and community service identification
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or RN with 2+ years of behavioral health experience
- Independent, active, and unrestricted RN license in the state of residence
- At least 2 years of experience in a related mental health environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Willingness to work occasional holidays and accommodate changes in working hours
