RN Behavioral Health Advocate

Job Summary

To support behavioral health initiatives, the full-time RN Behavioral Health Advocate will manage case administration and utilization review for behavioral health and substance abuse cases while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of behavioral health benefits for facility-based care
• Utilize clinical assessments to determine appropriate levels of care and evaluate the need for additional services
• Coordinate benefits and transitions between various levels of care, enhancing treatment plans and community service identification

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or RN with 2+ years of behavioral health experience
• Independent, active, and unrestricted RN license in the state of residence
• At least 2 years of experience in a related mental health environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Willingness to work occasional holidays and accommodate changes in working hours
