RN Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Coding Specialist (Registered Nurse + CPC).

Key Responsibilities

• Apply standardized coding practices to digitize benefit structures
• Develop and maintain procedure and service code groupings for accurate benefit alignment
• Ensure compliance with regulatory mandates and provide coding support for benefit administration

Required Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (AAPC or AHIMA) with a focus on CPT/HCPCS outpatient coding
• Active unrestricted RN license
• 3+ years of experience with coding and reimbursement methodologies (e.g. CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CMS)
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor's Degree
