RN Clinical Consultant

Job Summary

RN Clinical Consultant, a full-time remote position, provides clinical expertise in reviewing disability claims, assessing medical conditions, and collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze long-term and short-term disability claims to assess medical impact on function
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and claimants to ensure appropriate treatment plans and promote return to work
• Provide training and mentorship to claims staff regarding medical aspects of disability claims

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in direct patient care settings
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Certified Case Manager (CCM) preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical conditions related to disability products
• Experience with disability claims management systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
