RN Clinical Consultant

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the remote RN Clinical Consultant will review large claim notices for potential risks, educate stakeholders on clinical trends, and assess cost containment opportunities while working in a full-time salaried position.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and assess large claim notices for potential risks and set up claimants in POWER for ongoing monitoring
• Educate internal and external customers on clinical trends and research medical conditions for appropriate treatments
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement cost containment measures for claimants

Required qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of residence
• 5+ years of clinical experience
• 2+ years of ER, critical care, or oncology experience
• 2+ years of experience in an insurance or managed care company, or with a third-party administrator
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
