RN Clinical Consultant

Job Summary

Providing comprehensive medical reviews and analysis of disability claims, the full-time RN Clinical Consultant will work remotely to assess functional capacity based on medical data, collaborate with healthcare providers, and enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Review long-term and short-term disability claims to assess the impact of medical conditions on function and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and claimants to promote appropriate treatment plans and facilitate return-to-work goals
• Serve as a technical resource on medical aspects of disability claims and provide training to claims staff on related issues

Required qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years in direct patient care settings
• BSN and CCM preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical conditions as they relate to disability products
• Experience with DCMS, Claim Facts, and iProcess preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
